Yow, more good news - but at a very late date: we have been invited to another festival just 2 days after the world premiere screening at Morehouse.
RESURRECTING LOVE
at
GLOBAL PEACE FILM FESTIVAL
Friday, September 20th, 8 PM
Winter Park Library
1052 W. Morse Blvd, Winter Park, FL 32789
Florida! Two days after Georgia - how are we going to manage it? Don't really know yet. But for sure Resurrecting Love (the film) will be there. Let us know if you all know of any potential audience there - please - or anyone who can help alert people there. Winter Park is a suburb of Orlando.
Love Cemetery, the small, two-hundred year old African American cemetery in East Texas represents the endangered landscape of Black burial grounds all over the United States, graveyards that today are getting built over, cut up, covered by freeways and dividing neighborhoods. With your help, we can offer our documentary on Love Cemetery to audiences countrywide to help stem the tide.
We need a minimum of $5,000 to get our people to these two festivals. This is our opportunity to get attention for our film, to get conversations going about the important issues of race, reconciliation and stolen history related in the film. We can be there before the screening and talk to other filmmakers, distributors, reviewers, educators and journalists about joining us for our screening(s) and spreading the word. Then we can watch with a large audience and discuss the 20 year process of the making of the film, encourage future screenings at other festivals, in classrooms and churches, and distribution on screens across the world (theaters, streaming, video services, etc.) and begin the next phase of our journey.
You can help by making a tax deductible contribution through our fiscal sponsor, Fractured Atlas. We know that in this period of change, politics and worldwide turmoil, everyone is asking for financial assistance. Please consider us as important in extending the dialogue.
To remind you about Morehouse:

Thank you one and all for your ongoing and heartening support!
