WE WISH YOU A HAPPY AND HEALTHY 2025

Passsing Resurrecting Love on to the world - that is our goal for the year. We are planning some screenings across the country and talking to distributors. Our hope is that 2025 will bring the movie to thousands around the world and make the issues of race, reconciliation and respect for history (true history) fresh and urgent.

Here are some of the voices from our movie that reflect reactions to the plight of the ancestors of Love Cemetery:

Love Cemetery, the small, two-hundred year old African American cemetery in East Texas represents the endangered landscape of Black burial grounds all over the United States, graveyards that today are getting built over, cut up, covered by freeways and dividing neighborhoods. With your help, we can offer our documentary on Love Cemetery to audiences countrywide to help stem the tide.

We are fundraising right now to put ourselves in a position to place our film in the hands of a professional distributor with international contacts. Our needs are small relative to the amount of money we have already put into this film. We need to raise a total of $13,500 ($5,000 to form and maintain the LLC that will own the film, $3,500 for the Errors and Omissions Insurance we will have to carry to gain Distribution and another $5,000 to cover Additional Costs for Festivals, limited Promotion and Delivery Costs).

Can you help?

Or schedule a screening in your community that could help us raise the funds to spread our influence around the country. In your living room, at a local school or community center, or your church.

Thank you one and all for your ongoing and heartening support!

In solidarity,
